Every day I consider it an honour to represent you at City Hall. I always love speaking with you at the doors, and hearing what you want within our communities firsthand.
My focus is on bringing your voice to City Hall, getting results for our community and city. Our accomplishments over the years include;
2010-2014
- Richcraft Sensplex
- Major road resurfacing (Stonehenge, LaVerendrye, Ogilvie to name a few)
- Blair road crosswalk light
- Had Blair and Cyrville road added to future TMP
- Opened first ever Ward office at Armstrong arena
- Established communications plan that sees regular emails, mailings (3-4 times a year) and social media.
2014-2018
- Safer walking and biking delivering Shefford road Multi Use path
- Cyrville road Multi Use path
- Ogilvie road Multi Use path with benches
- Blair road Speed reduction to 50kms at Pineview and bollards
- Major renovations of Pat Clark community centre (Cyrville community centre) that is a big win for Seniors and the community
- Being a volunteer, I know the effort required to have police checks and why I championed them moving volunteer police checks online!
- New project management practices that will save money and eliminate duplication.
- Established Vision Jasmine that sees more community connectivity. This includes events, more programming in the community and infrastructure including rink boards and nets in the park.
- Major road resurfacing (Eastvale, Beaverbrook, Casey to name a few)
- Community splash pad at Loyola pad to serve 600 condos in the community
- 2016 helped revive the beacon hill after school program
- Working with the Dog Owner EXTREMELY happy to have opened one of only 3 fenced in dog parks in the city with parking. Our 4-legged friends love this place
- Opened an intermediate soccer field.
- Ken Steele park football bunker (coming 2021) – this is great news for the North Gloucester giants.
- Advocating for Police Background checks to be moved online now allows volunteers & professionals to be vetted efficiently with less time wasted.
- Pineview Community Hub give our neighbourhoods local facilities for programming and services.
