This spring, Lester B. Pearson High School \u2014 a cornerstone of Ottawa\u2019s east end \u2014 marked a major milestone: its 50th anniversary. More than a celebration, the event served as a powerful reminder of what happens when a school becomes more than just a building \u2014 when it becomes a beacon of growth, community, and belonging.<\/p>\n

Tom D\u2019Amico<\/strong>, Director of Education for the Ottawa Catholic School Board \u2014 and a former teacher at the school \u2014 shared his own meaningful connection to the Pearson community.
