It’s Official: Isabelle Skalski Sworn In as Osgoode Ward City Councillor

Isabelle Skalski was officially sworn in today as Osgoode Ward’s new City Councillor, bringing dedication, energy, and a strong voice for rural communities to City Hall.
June 20, 2025 by Andrea Shane

Isabelle Skalski was officially sworn in as the new City Councillor for Osgoode Ward — a proud moment for the community and a meaningful milestone in Isabelle’s journey of public service.

Taking the oath of office is more than a formality; it’s a powerful commitment to serve, lead, and advocate for the people of Osgoode. It takes courage, dedication, and a deep sense of responsibility to step out of private life and put your name forward for public office. Isabelle has done just that — and today, she begins her work with clarity of purpose and a heart for the community.

It was inspiring to see Isabelle connect with her colleagues at City Hall and take in the weight of the moment. But if you know Isabelle, you know she’s already looking ahead. She hasn’t stopped since day one, and she’s bringing that same energy, focus, and commitment to her role as Councillor.

As a long-time advocate for rural voices and community-driven solutions, Isabelle is ready to be a strong, steady voice for Osgoode Ward. Her focus remains on ensuring that residents of rural Ottawa are heard, respected, and supported.

We’re looking forward to working with Councillor Skalski and seeing all that she’ll accomplish in the days and years ahead. Congratulations, Isabelle — and thank you for answering the call to serve.
