Une façon simple de faire de la place tout en posant un geste positif pour notre communauté.
Stopped by the @timhortons on Donald Street with Toni from the @acbwellnessresourcecentre to celebrate Smile Cookie Day.
Every cookie supports the @the_snowsuit_fund, helping kids in our community stay warm through the winter. Simple, local, and it makes a real difference.
Safe to say it was a popular stop today 🙂
Started with one cookie… now I’ve got eight more Tim Hortons locations across the ward to visit, which basically means eight more cookies.
Grab a Smile Cookie and support a great cause.

Had a fantastic time today at the 11th Annual Wonderland Tea Party in support of Youth Mental Health at @cheohospital 🫖🎩
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, bought tickets, donated, and sponsored this incredible event. There was so much love in the room, especially in memory of Jamie Hubley.
I was proud to attend as the Mad Hatter alongside @katherinedines as Alice in Wonderland. Katherine continues to be a strong advocate for mental health research, and this event was a powerful reminder of the importance of that work.
It was great connecting with so many people, hearing meaningful stories, and seeing such strong community support. I was also joined by @_mayormarksutcliffe and council colleagues @rawlson , @allan_hubley @martycarrottawa , @ward24wilson , @catherine.kitts , @davidhillbarrhaven , and @councillordavidbrown .
A terrific fundraiser filled with fun, smiles, and purpose. Take a Bow, Wendy Hubley.

The Wild Kingdom is alive and well at Canadian Tire on Ogilvie 👀 @canadiantire
You’ve gotta look up (way up) to spot the giant dino out front—but don’t miss the rest of the crew hanging around…
🦬 A bison standing guard
🐊 A croc just chilling (don’t get too close 😅)
🐻 A bear taking a well-earned sit-down
🦍 And a gorilla that looks like it’s about to say something…
It’s actually pretty awesome seeing families stop, laugh, and grab photos with these. Turns a regular errand into a mini adventure.
If you’re in the east end, it’s worth a quick stop—you might end up staying longer than you planned.

Great turnout at Jasmine Park for Cleaning the Capital today.
A real mix of residents came out for the Beacon Hill community cleanup. Families, youth, and long-time neighbours all pitching in. That kind of community spirit is what makes moments like this stand out.
Big thanks to the Beacon Hill Community Association for organizing, and to President Julie, Cass, and all the members who helped make it happen.
We’ve got many more cleanups scheduled across the ward. This was a strong start.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made a difference.

This guy is salt of the earth. Humble, gentle giant., and now as an example of what you can do. @akheemdadream
@chargers @nfl @nflcanada
@gridironacademy
I`m not crying. You`re crying. Congratulations @akheemdadream , you proved it, man. Hard work pays off.
Ottawa, Canada, and most important person, your mother as well as your @nggiants love you. 🏈✌️
@nflcanada #Ottawa #nfl
Anyone who thinks they can’t make it… this is your proof.
From youth football to the @gridironacademy , this is what happens when opportunity meets hard work.
Proud to have always supported our Giants and the impact they’re making right here in our community.
Big moments like this don’t just happen… they’re built.
And proving we are a football town?
I’d say @cflredblacks at @tdplace, alongside the @nggiants … and Ottawa’s own @akheemdadream stepping into that next level makes that pretty clear.
This is a big deal for Ottawa. A big deal for football. 🏈
News out of this morning’s Mayor’s Breakfast 👀- Ontario’s Transportation Minister @prabsarkaria confirmed that work is underway on a ring road. It’s a major step forward for how people and goods move across our city.
And no… before anyone asks, we’re not throwing up any Illuminati symbols here 😅 just the best “ring” we could manage.
Jokes aside, this is the kind of infrastructure our growing city needs. Long term thinking, real movement on congestion, and a plan that actually connects.
Thanks to @prabsarkaria for the update this morning. Looking forward to seeing this take shape.
While we were a bit nervous heading into our first-ever Trivia Night, held in partnership with Dominion City Brewing Company and the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre, the evening was all in support of EORC’s Gender-Based Violence team, and it turned into an incredible success.
A tip of the hat to Andrea, Julie, Dani, and Brook-Lynn for all their work behind the scenes. It was great to have you all there.
From the community leaders doing important work, to local business owners and residents who came out to take part, it was a night filled with fun, connection, and plenty of laughs.
We had originally planned for this to be an annual event, but the energy in the room had us adding a fourth round on the spot. The feedback has been fantastic, and we are already looking ahead to the next one this fall. We are planning to build on it even more, including a music component and some movie clips.
And now we all understand why former Jeopardy contestants are so good. Thanks for being great sports and for earning your prizes, even if you kept coming in first.
There are many community leaders to thank, and I will be highlighting them individually over the coming days so they receive the recognition they deserve.
Once again, thank you to our community. It is truly an honour to represent you and to work alongside you.
Please enjoy your weekend!
