A Hidden Gem in Beacon Hill: Minute Motion Watch and Jewellery Services

Minute Motion Watch and Jewellery Services in Beacon Hill is a hidden gem where expert craftsmanship and heartfelt service come together under the skilled hands of Magit Elias.
July 15, 2025 by Andrea Shane

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the Beacon Hill Shopping Centre is a true hidden gem. Minute Motion Watch and Jewellery Services is where the art of precision meets friendly, expert care. At the heart of the shop is Magid Elias, a knowledgeable and highly skilled craftsman who has quickly earned a reputation for quality work and excellent service.

Originally from Egypt, Magid moved to Canada with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. Before launching his own business, he worked with a third-party jewellery repair company located inside Hudson’s Bay, offering expert service to customers on behalf of the retailer. He then opened his own space in the Beacon Hill Shopping Centre and has spent the past three years building a quiet but devoted following.

Minute Motion offers far more than just repairs. Magid provides a full range of services including watch battery replacements, strap adjustments, glass repairs, full overhauls, clock repairs, jewellery polishing, and custom fixes. He also offers a hand-picked selection of items for sale, including silver and gold plated bracelets, rings, chains, and watches, making it a destination not just for repairs but also for unique, meaningful gifts.

Turnaround time is usually five business days, but many small fixes can be completed even faster. And the results consistently speak for themselves. What sets Minute Motion apart is not just the skill, but the experience. Magid’s warm and honest approach, paired with a deep knowledge of his trade, keeps people coming back.

So whether your watch needs a new battery, a chain needs mending, or you’re browsing for something new, stop by this quiet little shop. Minute Motion Watch and Jewellery Services is where timeless craftsmanship lives on, right in the heart of our community.

You’ll find Minute Motion Watch and Jewellery Services at 2339 Ogilvie Road in the Beacon Hill Shopping Centre.
