A New Chapter for Wellness in Our Community Welcoming New Life Physio & Health Clinic

New Life Physio & Health Clinic is a trusted new hub for expert, compassionate care, helping our community heal and thrive through movement-based, personalized therapy.
July 16, 2025 by Andrea Shane

This week, I had the opportunity to visit New Life Physio & Health Clinic, a relatively new addition to our community, located at 1742 Montreal Road. In a short time, this clinic has already begun making a meaningful impact, helping residents recover, rebuild, and thrive.

New Life was founded by Ben Behzad Lahouti and Sobhan (Soby) Sobhani, two highly experienced and passionate physiotherapists with exceptional credentials. Ben holds degrees in physiotherapy and exercise neuroscience, along with a diploma in football medicine, and is currently completing his Doctor of Physiotherapy. He’s co-authored books and contributed to over ten scientific publications in international journals.

Soby brings a deep academic and clinical background, including a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences and post-doctoral work in the Netherlands. He’s held roles as Assistant Professor and Associate Dean, has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles, and continues to serve as a reviewer for top scientific journals. Together, they offer a powerful blend of research-based expertise and real-world care.

But Ben and Soby aren’t doing it alone. They’ve assembled a diverse, talented team of professionals who share their commitment to patient-centered, results-driven care. Whether you’re seeing a physiotherapist, chiropractor, massage therapist, or another specialist on the team, you can count on expert support tailored to your unique needs.

The clinic offers a wide range of services, including physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, shockwave therapy, laser therapy, dry needling, vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, post-op rehab, and geriatric care. Everything they do is grounded in the belief that movement is medicine, and it shows in their collaborative, personalized approach.

New Life Physio & Health Clinic has quickly become a trusted place for healing, strength, and support in our community. Congratulations to the entire team—you’re helping people move forward, one step at a time.
