Cyrville Station: Stay Connected with Free Wi-Fi and Easy Transit Access

Cyrville Station is an important stop on Ottawa
March 4, 2025 by Andrea Shane

Cyrville Station now offers free Wi-Fi, thanks to TELUS, making it easier to stay connected while you wait for your train. Whether you’re catching up on work, checking messages, or simply browsing, you can access the internet at no cost by connecting to the #TELUS network.

A Little Background

Cyrville Station opened on September 14, 2019, as part of the expanded Line 1 service. It sits between St-Laurent and Blair stations, providing quick and reliable transit for residents and commuters in our area.

What Makes Cyrville Station Stand Out?

There’s a lot to appreciate about this station, and here are a few key features:

  • Free Wi-Fi: Thanks to TELUS, Cyrville Station (along with all Line 1 stations) now offers free Wi-Fi. Whether you’re catching up on work or checking in with friends, you can stay connected while you wait. Simply connect to the #TELUS network and you’re set!

  • Cellular Coverage: Whether you’re above ground or in the tunnels, TELUS customers (and other providers) will have solid cellular coverage at Cyrville Station, keeping you connected no matter where you are.

  • Accessibility: Cyrville Station is designed to be accessible for all. With ramps, elevators, and other accessible features, everyone can travel with ease.

  • Convenient Connections: With easy access to Highway 417 and nearby bus routes, Cyrville Station is well-connected. It’s a convenient stop whether you’re taking the O-Train or switching to another mode of transit.

A Key Part of Our Community

Cyrville Station is more than just a transit stop – it’s becoming a key part of the changes taking place around our neighbourhood. With businesses, shopping areas, and residential spaces nearby, the station helps make the area more connected and accessible.

Connecting to TELUS Wi-Fi:

  1. Select the #TELUS Wi-Fi network on your device.
  2. Accept the Terms of Use.
  3. Enjoy free Wi-Fi while you wait!

Cyrville Station continues to grow as an important part of our community, and it’s exciting to see how it’s helping connect people and places. Thanks for taking the time to learn more, and I hope you find it as helpful as I do! Safe travels!
